Differences by platform

Not every Exact platform has its own API.

Exact Online has its own API, but there are restrictions on its use. Exact Globe Next, Exact Globe+ and Exact Financials do not, as standard, offer a comparable public API that allows external applications to integrate directly.

These platforms require additional technology to make data available. With Clickker, you have a single standardised REST API that allows you to access all four Exact platforms.

Online

Its own API, but with limitations

Exact Online has its own REST API, but there are limitations in terms of the number of API calls, the available processing capacity and the flexibility of the integration. The API endpoints are predefined by Exact and cannot be extended to suit individual requirements.

Globe Next

No standard public API

Exact Globe Next does not, as standard, have a public API comparable to that of Exact Online. Additional integration technology is required for external data access.

Globe+

No standard public API

Exact Globe+ does not, as standard, offer a comparable public API for external applications either. Without an additional integration layer or middleware, direct API integration is not necessarily possible.

Financials

No standard public API

Exact Financials does not, as standard, provide a comparable public API. To make data accessible to external applications, additional integration technology is required.

For Exact Online users

API limits in Exact Online can make growth expensive.

Exact Online applies limits on API usage. As your integrations are used more intensively or your organisation grows, you may reach these limits. For higher volumes, you may need to upgrade to a more comprehensive subscription. Depending on your situation, additional costs may arise for extra API capacity.

We will examine the configuration of your Exact environment, the applications involved, data flows and existing automation solutions, such as BPA, RPA and Orbis. This paid analysis is quoted in advance based on the expected number of hours.

We set out the findings in an integration document detailing the technical and functional requirements, the necessary data exchange and the proposed solution. Based on this, you will receive a tailored quotation for the implementation of the Clickker integration.
